	Amend CSSB 9 (House committee printing) in SECTION 17 of the 
bill, in added Section 411.0845, Government Code (page 31, between 
lines 12 and 13), by adding the following new Subsection (l):
	(l)  Not later than January 1 of each odd-numbered year, the 
department shall purge all information contained in the 
clearinghouse relating to a person as to whom the department has 
obtained information as provided by Subchapter C, Chapter 22, 
Education Code, and who is no longer employed in a capacity for 
which national criminal history record information is required to 
be obtained under that subchapter.  The department shall work with 
the commissioner of education to update the files of the 
clearinghouse.
