Amend CSSB 101 in SECTION 1 of the bill, in amended Section 
51.803, Education Code (Senate committee printing, page 2, between 
lines 15 and 16), by inserting the following new subsection and 
relettering subsequent subsections of amended Section 51.803 
accordingly:

	(d)  For any academic year in which a general academic 
teaching institution elects to offer admission to applicants under 
Subsection (c), the institution may not charge tuition under 
Section 54.0513, or under any other law granting the institution or 
its governing board discretion to set the tuition rate, at a rate 
that exceeds the rate in effect for the preceding academic year.
