System updates will be applied on February 19, 2026 at 6:00 PM. These updates will include changes to the user interface. Work is expected to take approximately 30 minutes to complete, during which the site will be unavailable.

	Amend SB 141 (senate engrossment) as follows:                                

(1)  In SECTION 1 of the bill, in proposed Subsection (a), 	Section 61.0661, Education Code (page 1, line 13), strike "shall" 
and substitute "may".
	(2)  In SECTION 1 of the bill, in proposed Subsection (b), 
Section 61.0661, Education Code (page 1, lines 18 and 19), strike 
"Not later than September 30, 2008, the board shall complete the 
study required by Subsection (a)" and substitute "If the board 
conducts the study authorized by Subsection (a), not later than 
September 30, 2008, the board shall complete the study".
