	Amend CSSB 199 (house committee printing) by inserting the 
following new SECTION to the bill, appropriately numbered, and 
renumbering subsequent SECTIONS of the bill accordingly:
	SECTION ____.  The change in law made by this Act to Section 
250.006, Health and Safety Code, does not apply to the employment of 
a person by a facility before January 1, 2008, if the person:
		(1)  is employed by the facility on the effective date 
of this Act; and     
		(2)  remains continuously employed by that facility.
