Amend Floor Amendment No. 1 to CSSB 482 by P. King on page 10, 
line 4, by striking "transaction." and substituting: 

transaction except as provided by this subsection. The purchase of 
an electric utility or transmission and distribution utility in 
this state by an electric utility or other person that, at the time 
the commission receives the report under this section, has less 
than five years' experience in the electric industry may not be 
concluded until the commission determines, as provided by Section 
14.101, that the purchase is consistent with the public interest.
