	Amend CSSB 482 by adding the following appropriately numbered 
SECTION to read as follows and renumbering subsequent SECTIONS 
accordingly:
	SECTION ____.  Subchapter C, Chapter 39, Utilities Code, is 
amended by adding Section 39.1016 to read as follows:
	Sec. 39.1016.  SWITCHOVER FEE PROHIBITED.  A retail electric 
provider, power generation company, aggregator, or other entity 
that provides retail electric service may not charge a residential 
customer a switchover fee.
