	Amend SB 617 (house committee printing) as follows:                          

(1)  In SECTION 1 of the bill, in amended Subdivision (3), 	Subsection (a), Section 154.006, Family Code (page 1, line 14), 
strike "or" and substitute "[or]".
	(2)  In SECTION 1 of the bill, in Subdivision (4), Subsection 
(a), Section 154.006, Family Code (page 1, line 19), between 
"154.002(a)" and the period, insert the following:
	; or                                                                    
		(5)  if the child enlists in the armed forces of the 
United States, the date on which the child begins active service as 
defined by 10 U.S.C. Section 101
