	Amend SB 792 by adding the following appropriately numbered 
SECTION to the bill and renumbering subsequent SECTIONS 
accordingly:
	SECTION ____.  Subchapter C, Chapter 227, Transportation 
Code, is amended by adding Section 227.035 to read as follows:
	Sec. 227.035.  PROJECTS PROHIBITED IN CERTAIN COUNTIES.  The 
department may not construct or operate a facility as part of the 
Trans-Texas Corridor in a county that is west of the counties in 
which IH 35 is located.
