Amend CSSB 799 (Senate committee printing) as follows:                       
	(1)  In added Subsection (a), Section 2, Article 38.20, Code 
of Criminal Procedure (page 1, line 19), strike "three" and 
substitute "four".
	(2)  In added Subdivision (2), Subsection (a), Section 2, 
Article 38.20, Code of Criminal Procedure (page 1, line 26), strike 
"and".
	(3)  In added Subsection (a), Section 2, Article 38.20, Code 
of Criminal Procedure (page 1, line 30), strike the period and 
substitute the following:

"; and                                                                 
		(4)  the president of the Texas Police Chiefs 
Association or the president's designee."
	(4)  In added Subsection (b), Section 4, Article 38.20, Code 
of Criminal Procedure (page 2, lines 14-15), strike added 
Subdivision (5) and renumber subsequent subdivisions accordingly.
	(5)  In added Section 5, Article 38.20, Code of Criminal 
Procedure (page 2, lines 44-45), strike "civil litigation" and 
substitute "civil or criminal litigation".
