Amend CSSB 1308 in SECTION 2 of the bill as follows:                         
	(1)  In added Section 1103.406, Occupations Code (committee 
printing page 1, line 47), immediately following "who", add ", in 
connection with a residential mortgage loan,".
	(2)  In added Section 1103.406, Occupations Code (committee 
printing page 1, line 55), immediately following "appraisal."  add 
"In this section, "residential mortgage loan" means a loan or 
agreement to extend credit made to a person and secured by a 
mortgage or lien on residential real property, including a 
refinancing or renewal of a loan secured by residential real 
property."
