Amend CSSB 1324 (Senate committee printing) as follows:                      
	(1)   In SECTION 1 of the bill (page 3, line 29 and 30), 
between "sell" and "computer", insert "new".
	(2)  In SECTION 1 of the bill (page 3, line 33), reletter 
subsection (b) and (c) and insert:
	(b)  Retailers can go to the commission's Internet site as 
outlined in Section 361.958 and view all manufacturers that are 
listed as having registered a compliant collection program.  
Covered electronic products from manufacturers on that list may be 
sold in or into the state of Texas.
	(3)   In SECTION 1 of the bill, (page 3, lines 53 through 56), 
strike proposed Subsection (c), Section 361.958, Health and Safety 
Code.
