Amend SB 1332 (House committee printing) by adding the 
following appropriately numbered SECTION to the bill and 
renumbering the subsequent SECTIONS accordingly:
	SECTION ____.  Subchapter C, Chapter 1232, Government Code, 
is amended by adding Section 1232.123 to read as follows:
	Sec. 1232.124.  PREFERENCE FOR TEXAS BUSINESSES.  If the 
authority contracts with a private entity to issue bonds under this 
chapter, the authority shall consider contracting with:
		(1)  an entity that has its principal place of business 
in this state; and
		(2)  a historically underutilized business as defined 
by Section 2161.001.
