	Amend CSSB 1693 (house committee printing) as follows:                       
	(1)  In Section 1 of the bill, in added Section 672.051, 
Business & Commerce Code (page 3, between lines 24 and 25), insert 
the following:
	(c)  The contiguous area may not include any territory in the 
corporate boundaries or extraterritorial jurisdiction of a 
municipality that by ordinance or resolution objects to the 
inclusion of its territory in the authority.
