	Amend CSSB 1693 in SECTION 1 of the bill, in proposed Section 
672.054, Business & Commerce Code (House committee printing, page 
5, between lines 12 and 13), by inserting the following:
	(e)  Not later than the 10th day before the date of the first 
hearing held under this section, the participating entity must 
provide to each owner of property located wholly or partly in the 
proposed boundaries of the authority notice of the hearing and of 
the property owner's right to exclude the property from the 
authority under Subsection (c)(4).  The notice must be sent to the 
property owner at the current address of the property according to 
the appraisal record maintained by the appraisal district for that 
property under Section 25.02, Tax Code.
