Amend SB 1781 by striking SECTION 2 on page one, lines 51-55, 
committee printing, and replace it with the following:
	SECTION 2.  The change in law make by this Act applies only to 
an instrument filed for record on or after September 1, 2007.  An 
instrument filed for record before September 1, 2007, is governed 
by the law in effect immediately before that date, and that law is 
continued in effect for that purpose.
