	Amend CSSB 1908 (Senate Committee Printing) as follows:                      

(1)  In SECTION 8 of the bill, in amended Subdivision (1), 	Subsection (b), Section 2306.6710, Government Code (page 13, line 
20), strike "and" and substitute "[and]".
	(2)  In SECTION 8 of the bill, in Subdivision (2), Subsection 
(b), Section 2306.6710, Government Code (page 14, line 1), strike 
the period and substitute the following:

; and                                                                  
		(3)  encourages applicants to provide free notary 
public service to the residents of the developments for which the 
allocation of housing tax credits is requested.
