BILL ANALYSIS
Senate Research Center H.B. 1334
80R13114 ABC-D By: Homer (Eltife)
AUTHOR'S / SPONSOR'S STATEMENT OF INTENT
Current law allows those with upper limb disabilities to use crossbows during an open archery season. However, many hunting enthusiasts believe that allowing the unfettered use of crossbows would increase interest in hunting and help provide for future generations of hunters and wildlife conservators.
H.B. 1334 removes restrictions on the use of crossbows during archery season.
