BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE
As proposed, S.B.1976 amends a technical error in the statute governing membership of the McLennan County Juvenile Board that requires the county to pay county court of law judges a supplement for serving on the board, but fails to include these judges as board members.
RULEMAKING AUTHORITY
It is the committee's opinion that this bill does not expressly grant any additional rulemaking authority to a state officer, department, agency, or institution.
