A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT

relating to the retrieval of a vehicle from a vehicle storage |
|
|
facility. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Subchapter D, Chapter 2303, Occupations Code, is |
|
|
amended by adding Section 2303.160 to read as follows: |
|
|
Sec. 2303.160. RETRIEVAL OF VEHICLE. The operator of a |
|
|
vehicle storage facility shall allow the owner of a vehicle stored |
|
|
or parked at the facility to be accompanied by another person when |
|
|
retrieving the vehicle. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2007. |
