A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|
|
|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to providing notice regarding certain actions proposed to |
|
|
be taken with respect to a community residential facility. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 508.119, Government Code, is amended by |
|
|
adding Subsection (j) to read as follows: |
|
|
(j) In addition to meeting the notice requirements of |
|
|
Subsection (d), before the 30th day before the date of the meeting, |
|
|
the division or a vendor proposing to operate the facility shall |
|
|
post a copy of the notice at the entrances to: |
|
|
(1) the site of the facility; and |
|
|
(2) the location where the public meeting will be |
|
|
held. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2007. |
