A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|
|
|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to making an appropriation to The University of Texas |
|
|
Health Science Center at San Antonio for the purpose of supporting |
|
|
the Regional Academic Health Center. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. In addition to other amounts appropriated for |
|
|
the state fiscal biennium beginning September 1, 2007, the amount |
|
|
of $5 million is appropriated for that biennium out of the general |
|
|
revenue fund to The University of Texas Health Science Center at San |
|
|
Antonio for the purpose of supporting the Regional Academic Health |
|
|
Center established under Section 74.611, Education Code. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives |
|
|
a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as |
|
|
provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this |
|
|
Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this |
|
|
Act takes effect on the 91st day after the last day of the |
|
|
legislative session. |
