A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT

relating to the boundaries of the Airline Improvement District in |
|
Harris County. |
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
SECTION 1. Section 2, Chapter 572, Acts of the 79th |
|
Legislature, Regular Session, 2005, is amended to read as follows: |
|
Sec. 2. BOUNDARIES. The [As of the effective date of this
|
|
Act, the] Airline Improvement District includes all territory |
|
contained in the following described area: |
|
GENERAL BOUNDARIES: THE DISTRICT IS LOCATED WITHIN HARRIS |
|
COUNTY, TEXAS, BEING GENERALLY BOUNDED WESTERLY BY SWEETWATER LANE |
|
AND THE CITY OF HOUSTON LIMITS, BOUNDED NORTHERLY BY WEST ROAD, |
|
BEING THE CITY OF HOUSTON LIMITS AND ALONG AND INCLUDING ALL OF THE |
|
PROPERTIES WITH AN ADDRESS ON AIRLINE DRIVE AND ALDINE MAIL ROAD, |
|
BOUNDED EASTERLY BY THE HARDY TOLL ROAD AND THE CITY OF HOUSTON |
|
LIMITS, AND BOUNDED SOUTHERLY BY CARBY ROAD AND CANINO STREET, |
|
BEING THE CITY OF HOUSTON LIMITS. |

|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives |
|
a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as |
|
provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this |
|
Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this |
|
Act takes effect September 1, 2007. |
