A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the regulation of propane storage tanks used by mobile |
|
|
food units. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Chapter 437, Health and Safety Code, is amended |
|
|
by adding Section 437.021 to read as follows: |
|
|
Sec. 437.021. RULES RELATING TO PROPANE STORAGE TANKS USED |
|
|
BY MOBILE FOOD UNIT. The department, in consultation with the Texas |
|
|
Department of Transportation, shall adopt rules to ensure the safe |
|
|
installation, operation, and transport of a propane storage tank |
|
|
used by a mobile food unit. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2007. |
