A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|
|
|
AN ACT
|
| |
|
|
relating to the definition of automotive wrecking and salvage yard. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 396.001(1), Transportation Code, is |
|
|
amended to read as follows: |
|
|
(1) "Automotive wrecking and salvage yard" means an |
|
|
outdoor place where a person stores three or more [wrecked] |
|
|
vehicles for the purpose of dismantling or wrecking the vehicles to |
|
|
remove parts for sale or for use in automotive repair or rebuilding. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2007. |
