A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to a requirement that a recipient of money from the Texas |
|
|
Enterprise Fund provide a health benefit plan for its employees. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 481.078, Government Code, is amended by |
|
|
adding Subsection (g-1) to read as follows: |
|
|
(g-1) The grant agreement shall include a provision |
|
|
requiring that the grant recipient provide a health benefit plan to |
|
|
its employees used in any activity or project financed by the grant. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2007. |
