A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|
|
|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the expunction of certain complaint information by the |
|
|
State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 801.204, Occupations Code, is amended by |
|
|
adding Subsection (d) to read as follows: |
|
|
(d) The board by rule shall adopt procedures concerning the |
|
|
expunction of files on license holders, including complaints, |
|
|
adverse reports, and other investigative information on license |
|
|
holders. |
|
|
SECTION 2. The State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners |
|
|
shall adopt rules required by Section 801.204(d), Occupations Code, |
|
|
as added by this Act, not later than November 1, 2007. |
|
|
SECTION 3. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives |
|
|
a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as |
|
|
provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this |
|
|
Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this |
|
|
Act takes effect September 1, 2007. |
