A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|
|
|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the construction of communication facility structures |
|
|
in certain counties. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 240.082(a), Local Government Code, is |
|
|
amended as follows: |
|
|
(a) This subchapter applies only to real property that is |
|
|
located in the unincorporated area of a county with a population of |
|
|
1.4 million or more.; or: |
|
|
(1) That is located adjacent to an international |
|
|
border; and |
|
|
(2) which contains: |
|
|
(a) a federal military installation; and |
|
|
(b) a national recreation area. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives |
|
|
a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as |
|
|
provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this |
|
|
Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this |
|
|
Act takes effect September 1, 2007. |
