A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|

|
AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to the disclosure of the name of a student or minor who is |
|
|
involved in an improper relationship with an educator. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Section 21.12, Penal Code, is amended by adding |
|
|
Subsection (d) to read as follows: |
|
|
(d) The name of a person who is enrolled in a public or |
|
|
private primary or secondary school and involved in an improper |
|
|
relationship with an educator as provided by Subsection (a) may not |
|
|
be released to the public and is not public information under |
|
|
Chapter 552, Government Code. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect September 1, 2007. |
