A BILL TO BE ENTITLED

AN ACT

relating to the terms of court for the 49th and 341st District Courts.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS:

SECTION 1. Section 24.151(e), Government Code, is amended to read as follows:

(e) The terms of the 49th District Court and the 341st District Court begin:

(1) in Webb County on the first Mondays in January, April, July, and October [June, September, and November]; and

(2) in Zapata County on the first Mondays in February [March] and August.

SECTION 2. Section 24.487(c), Government Code, is repealed.

SECTION 3. This Act takes effect September 1, 2007.
