A BILL TO BE ENTITLED
|

AN ACT
|
|
|
relating to preservation of game and fish in McCulloch County. |
|
|
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF TEXAS: |
|
|
SECTION 1. Amend Title 7 of the Parks and Wildlife Code by |
|
|
adding a new Chapter 275 to read as follows: |
|
|
Chapter 275.001 (1) To protect and preserve the game and fish |
|
|
of the county, no more than two industrial sand and production |
|
|
facilities may be permitted by the State of Texas in McCulloch |
|
|
County. |
|
|
SECTION 2. This Act takes effect immediately if it receives |
|
|
a vote of two-thirds of all the members elected to each house, as |
|
|
provided by Section 39, Article III, Texas Constitution. If this |
|
|
Act does not receive the vote necessary for immediate effect, this |
|
|
Act takes effect September 1, 2007. |
