HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
         WHEREAS, Family and friends mourn the passing of Janice Kaye
  Bolton Reddell of Paris on January 14, 2007, yet the memory of her
  full and generous life may offer comfort at their time of loss; and
         WHEREAS, Born to Ralph Lee and Beulah Clorine Howard Bolton
  on July 11, 1944, the former Kaye Bolton was a lifelong resident of
  Lamar County; she attended Delmar School, where she was an
  excellent student and a star basketball player; and
         WHEREAS, She married the love of her life, John Wayne
  Reddell, on July 22, 1961, and the devoted couple shared many
  adventures together, including drag racing, hay baling, and owning
  and operating a glass and metal shop for 20 years; retiring as vice
  president of the company in 2001, Mrs. Reddell enjoyed cooking,
  shopping, and, most of all, spending time with her family; devoted
  to her husband and their three daughters, she delighted in the
  activities of her grandchildren and in the company of her
  mother-in-law; and
         WHEREAS, Kaye Reddell built a life that was rich in family and
  friends, and memories of her warmth, adventurous spirit, and
  mischievous sense of humor will be forever treasured by those who
  held her dear; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the 80th Legislature of the State of Texas
  hereby pay tribute to the life of Janice Kaye Bolton Reddell and
  extend sympathy to the members of her family: to her husband, John
  Wayne Reddell; to her daughters and their husbands, Diedra and Lee
  Rast, Dawn and Barry Malone, and Dashielle and Scotty Floyd; to her
  grandchildren, Ty and Will Rast, Jacob, Cody, Macy, and Molly
  Malone, and Sydney, Ryder, and Kip Floyd; to her mother-in-law,
  Louise Reddell; to her brothers, Rex, Jim, and David Bolton; to her
  sisters, Carole Jackson and Lynne Asbery; and to her other
  relatives and friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives and Senate adjourn this day, they do so in memory of
  Janice Kaye Bolton Reddell.
