HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Family and friends mourn the passing of Janice Kaye |
|
|
Bolton Reddell of Paris on January 14, 2007, yet the memory of her |
|
|
full and generous life may offer comfort at their time of loss; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Born to Ralph Lee and Beulah Clorine Howard Bolton |
|
|
on July 11, 1944, the former Kaye Bolton was a lifelong resident of |
|
|
Lamar County; she attended Delmar School, where she was an |
|
|
excellent student and a star basketball player; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, She married the love of her life, John Wayne |
|
|
Reddell, on July 22, 1961, and the devoted couple shared many |
|
|
adventures together, including drag racing, hay baling, and owning |
|
|
and operating a glass and metal shop for 20 years; retiring as vice |
|
|
president of the company in 2001, Mrs. Reddell enjoyed cooking, |
|
|
shopping, and, most of all, spending time with her family; devoted |
|
|
to her husband and their three daughters, she delighted in the |
|
|
activities of her grandchildren and in the company of her |
|
|
mother-in-law; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Kaye Reddell built a life that was rich in family and |
|
|
friends, and memories of her warmth, adventurous spirit, and |
|
|
mischievous sense of humor will be forever treasured by those who |
|
|
held her dear; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the 80th Legislature of the State of Texas |
|
|
hereby pay tribute to the life of Janice Kaye Bolton Reddell and |
|
|
extend sympathy to the members of her family: to her husband, John |
|
|
Wayne Reddell; to her daughters and their husbands, Diedra and Lee |
|
|
Rast, Dawn and Barry Malone, and Dashielle and Scotty Floyd; to her |
|
|
grandchildren, Ty and Will Rast, Jacob, Cody, Macy, and Molly |
|
|
Malone, and Sydney, Ryder, and Kip Floyd; to her mother-in-law, |
|
|
Louise Reddell; to her brothers, Rex, Jim, and David Bolton; to her |
|
|
sisters, Carole Jackson and Lynne Asbery; and to her other |
|
|
relatives and friends; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of |
|
|
Representatives and Senate adjourn this day, they do so in memory of |
|
|
Janice Kaye Bolton Reddell. |
