CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
|
|
WHEREAS, Memories of a life filled with joyful times, loving |
|
moments, and meaningful accomplishments may comfort the family and |
|
friends of Robert Allen Bonner of Clarksville, who passed away on |
|
October 14, 2006, at the age of 61; and |
|
WHEREAS, Bob Bonner was born to George and Jean Calhoun |
|
Bonner on March 16, 1945, in Texarkana, Arkansas; he served his |
|
nation proudly as a member of the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War; |
|
and |
|
WHEREAS, A resident of Paris for many years, Mr. Bonner was a |
|
successful entrepreneur who owned several businesses, including |
|
Robert Allen's and the Kawasaki Cycle Center; he was well known for |
|
his friendliness and generosity, and he will be greatly missed by |
|
those fortunate enough to have known him; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the 80th Legislature of the State of Texas |
|
hereby pay tribute to the life of Robert Allen Bonner and extend |
|
sincere sympathy to the members of his family: to his mother, Jean |
|
Bonner; to his children, Thomas Robert and Fallon Nicole Bonner; to |
|
his sister, Sherry Dipatri; to his companion, Brenda Banovich; and |
|
to his other relatives and many friends; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives and Senate adjourn this day, they do so in memory of |
|
Bob Bonner. |
