CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
         WHEREAS, Family and friends will forever cherish their
  memories of Donna Annita High, who passed away on February 8, 2007,
  at the age of 40; and
         WHEREAS, Ms. High was born on April 21, 1966, in Marshall, the
  daughter of Robert and Carol High; she attended local schools and
  graduated from Paris High School, where she excelled as a member of
  the basketball and track teams; and
         WHEREAS, She was a woman of numerous interests who greatly
  enjoyed such pastimes as fishing, traveling, cooking, and caring
  for her pets; known for her generosity, she collected walking canes
  and took pleasure in giving them away to others; and
         WHEREAS, A true and faithful friend to many, Donna High will
  be deeply missed, but she will always be remembered with great
  tenderness and affection by those who were privileged to know her;
  now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the 80th Legislature of the State of Texas
  hereby pay tribute to the life of Donna Annita High and extend
  sincere sympathy to the members of her family: to her parents,
  Robert and Carol High; to her brothers, Robert High, Jr., and his
  wife, Michelle, and Donald High and his wife, Sheryl; to her nieces
  and nephews, Kristin, Whitley, Daniel, Kevin, Tony, Chevis, and
  Donald High and Kiedrick Fulbright and his wife, Sarah; to her
  great-niece and nephew, MaKya and Jayden High; and to her other
  loved ones; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives and Senate adjourn this day, they do so in memory of
  Donna Annita High.
