HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
|
|
WHEREAS, Those young Texans who dedicate themselves to the |
|
pursuit of excellence in academic achievement are richly deserving |
|
of our admiration and respect; and |
|
WHEREAS, The participants in the La Marque High School |
|
Distinguished Graduates program have established themselves as |
|
scholars of exceptional ability, and we join their families and |
|
friends in saluting their accomplishment; and |
|
WHEREAS, By meeting the rigorous requirements of the Texas |
|
Education Agency Distinguished Achievement High School program, |
|
these talented students have demonstrated both impressive ability |
|
and steadfast determination in setting and achieving challenging |
|
goals; and |
|
WHEREAS, The future of Texas and America lies in the hands of |
|
these leaders of tomorrow, and their unstinting efforts to receive |
|
the best education possible indeed bodes well for our state and |
|
nation; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the 80th Legislature of the State of Texas |
|
hereby congratulate the Distinguished Graduates of La Marque High |
|
School and extend to them sincere best wishes for success and |
|
happiness in all their future endeavors; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for the students as an expression of high regard by the |
|
Texas House of Representatives and Senate. |
