CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
         WHEREAS, Stanley Ray Hart of Paris, Texas, passed away on
  April 1, 2007, leaving behind a legacy of many accomplishments; and
         WHEREAS, A native Texan, Mr. Hart was born to James and Wanda
  Bates Hart on July 24, 1957; he earned a bachelor's degree in
  sociology and criminal justice from Southeastern Oklahoma State
  University; and
         WHEREAS, Passionate about the rodeo, Stanley Hart garnered
  distinction as a stock cattle producer; the owner of Big Heart
  Bucking Bulls, he raised and sold Big Bucks, which was chosen bull
  of the year in 2005 by the Professional Bull Riders organization; in
  addition, Mr. Hart was a member of the National Bucking Bull
  Association and American Bucking Bull, Inc., and his contributions
  to the sport were featured in several magazines; and
         WHEREAS, He married Peggy Tollet on September 26, 1981, and
  the couple raised a family together; Mr. Hart attended the Blossom
  Church of God in Paris; and
         WHEREAS, Although his death has brought great sorrow to those
  who knew him, Stanley Hart touched the lives of countless
  individuals with his zest for life, and he made an impact on the
  rodeo world with his love and enthusiasm for the sport; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the 80th Legislature of the State of Texas
  hereby honor the life of Stanley Ray Hart and offer condolences to
  the members of his family: to his wife, Peggy Hart; to his children,
  Ashley Price and her husband, Jonathan, Holly Hart, and Hannah
  Hart; to his granddaughter, Madisyn Hart; to his mother, Wanda
  Hart; to his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Wayne and Helen
  Tollet; to his sisters, Cindy Gurley, and her husband, Mark, and
  Becky Michael and her husband, Timmy; to his brothers-in-law, Steve
  Tollet and his wife, Tonya, and Mark Tollet and his wife, Sheila;
  and to his other relatives and many friends; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives and Senate adjourn this day, they do so in memory of
  Stanley Hart.
