HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Ernesto Munoz of Midland was named a 2007 Exemplary |
|
|
Migrant Student for his outstanding achievement in the Migrant |
|
|
Student Graduation Enhancement Program of The University of Texas |
|
|
at Austin; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A student at Midland High School, this fine young |
|
|
Texan has devoted himself to his studies while helping to support |
|
|
his family as a migrant farmworker, and his perseverance, hard |
|
|
work, and commitment to excellence have earned him a stellar |
|
|
academic record; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, With his selection for this notable honor, Mr. Munoz |
|
|
has proven to be a student of great ability and initiative, and he |
|
|
may indeed take justifiable pride in his achievement and look to the |
|
|
future with anticipation and optimism; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the 80th Legislature of the State of Texas |
|
|
hereby congratulate Ernesto Munoz on being named a 2007 Exemplary |
|
|
Migrant Student by The University of Texas at Austin and extend to |
|
|
him sincere best wishes for continued success in all his endeavors; |
|
|
and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Munoz as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives and Senate. |
