H.C.R. No. 246
 
 
 
HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
         WHEREAS, A full and generous life drew to a close with the
  passing of Janie D. Buster of the Caviness community on April 30,
  2007, at the age of 74; and
         WHEREAS, Born in Enloe to Wesley D. Stanley and Goldie Smart
  Stanley on March 20, 1933, "Mimi" Buster attended Enloe schools and
  graduated from Cooper High School; and
         WHEREAS, The former Janie Stanley married David Buster on
  June 4, 1949, in Cooper; the couple became the proud parents of four
  children, with whom they shared the many special occasions of life;
  and
         WHEREAS, Mrs. Buster was involved in a number of community
  activities and gave generously of her time and talents as a 4-H
  leader in Caviness; she was also a faithful congregant of the Lamar
  Avenue Church of Christ in Paris, where she was a volunteer with the
  Latch Key program; and
         WHEREAS, Janie Buster possessed a deep affection for her
  family and her church; she will be greatly missed by all who knew
  her and remembered fondly for her many good works and deeds; now,
  therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the 80th Legislature of the State of Texas
  hereby pay tribute to the life of Janie D. "Mimi" Buster and extend
  sincere sympathy to the members of her family: to her husband, David
  Buster; to her children, Peggy Robinson and her husband, Bill,
  Patti Buster, Mark Buster, and Judy Daughtrey and her husband,
  Sonny; to her grandchildren, Davy, Judd, and Josh Bivens, Cody
  Sanders, Shelly Pope, Marcie Termin, Wesley, Amber, Kimberly,
  Rance, and Reese Buster, Cassidy Emeyabbi, and Bailee Miller; to
  her 12 great-grandchildren; to her sister, Jean Hule and her
  husband, Bill; to her brothers, Vernon Stanley and his wife,
  Sandra, and Dr. William A. Stanley and his wife, Renee; to her dear
  friend, Opal Lester; and to her many other relatives and friends;
  and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives and Senate adjourn this day, they do so in memory of
  Janie D. Buster.
