H.C.R. No. 270
 
 
 
HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION
         WHEREAS, Words cannot adequately convey the deep sorrow felt
  at the death of Ashantay Renee Gray Bouchon of Paris, who passed
  away on May 13, 2007, at the age of five; and
         WHEREAS, Born on March 26, 2002, in Colorado Springs,
  Colorado, Ashantay Bouchon was a prekindergarten student at T. G.
  Givens Elementary School, where she was adored by all who knew her
  for her bright smile and happy nature; and
         WHEREAS, Although her time on this earth was far too brief,
  this cherished little girl touched the lives of numerous people,
  and memories of time spent in her company will be forever treasured
  by all those who held her dear; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the 80th Legislature of the State of Texas
  hereby pay tribute to the life of Ashantay Renee Gray Bouchon and
  extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family: to her mother,
  Taneesha Gray; to her father, Corey Edwards; to her brother, Tavon
  Gray; to her grandparents, Teresa Gray, Clifford Gray, and Glenn
  and Judy Edwards; to her great-grandparents, Nancy Logsdon and the
  Reverend R. L. Gray; to her aunts, Tiffany Gray, Sherry Edwards, and
  April Coleman; and to her other relatives and many friends; and, be
  it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives and Senate adjourn this day, they do so in memory of
  Ashantay Renee Gray Bouchon.
