R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, The family and friends of Keith Robert Heffington of |
|
|
Austin were deeply saddened by his passing on May 24, 2006; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A native Texan, Mr. Heffington was born September 2, |
|
|
1961, in Denton; he graduated from Westlake High School, where he |
|
|
was active in sports and a member of the pole-vaulting team; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Keith Heffington brightened the lives of many |
|
|
individuals, and memories of time spent in his company will long be |
|
|
held dear in the hearts of all who were privileged to know him; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Keith Robert |
|
|
Heffington and extend deepest sympathy to the members of his |
|
|
family: to his daughter, Shauna; to his father, Joe Heffington and |
|
|
his wife, Susan; to his mother, Dierdre Heffington; to his brother, |
|
|
Derek Heffington; to his sister, Wendy and her husband, Shaf |
|
|
Rahman; to his stepbrother, Jordan Francis; to his niece, Jessica |
|
|
Friesen; to his nephews, Cody, Sean, and Brian Heffington; and to |
|
|
his other relatives and many friends; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of |
|
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Keith |
|
|
Robert Heffington. |
