R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, A golden wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of |
|
|
love and shared experiences, and Marland and Linda Faye Poe of Caddo |
|
|
Mills celebrated this joyous milestone in their marriage on January |
|
|
12, 2007; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Poe and the former Linda Faye Yeatts were joined |
|
|
in matrimony in 1957; through the years, they have been blessed with |
|
|
children Gary and Barbara Poe and Mark and Kathy Turney, as well as |
|
|
four grandchildren, Helen and Audrey Poe and Daniel and Ryan |
|
|
Turney; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The 50 years that Mr. and Mrs. Poe have shared is |
|
|
eloquent affirmation of the meaning of commitment, and their |
|
|
enduring union is an inspiration to all those who have shared in the |
|
|
richness of their lives; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Marland and Linda Faye Poe on their |
|
|
50th wedding anniversary and extend to them best wishes for |
|
|
continued happiness together; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Poe as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
