R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, The certain knowledge of a life well lived may |
|
temper the profound sadness caused by the passing of John Addersley |
|
Campbell, Sr.; and |
|
WHEREAS, Born on March 24, 1931, in Cambridge, Massachusetts, |
|
Mr. Campbell served his country with distinction during the Korean |
|
and Vietnam Wars before retiring from the U.S. Air Force in 1970; |
|
and |
|
WHEREAS, He was a devoted husband to his wife of 42 years, |
|
Martha Kay Campbell, who preceded him in death, and he was held in |
|
the highest regard by all who knew him; while his death has brought |
|
great sorrow to his loved ones, he has left behind many fond |
|
memories that they will treasure forever; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of John Addersley |
|
Campbell, Sr., and that sincere sympathy be extended to the members |
|
of his family: to his sons, John Campbell, Jr., and his wife, |
|
Jennifer, Roy Campbell, and Kenneth Campbell, and his wife, |
|
Jeanette; to his grandchildren, John Campbell III, and his wife, |
|
Mirella, Alisa, Devin, Andrew, Taylor, Kalyn, and Hannah Campbell, |
|
and Clair and Tucker Garcia; to his great-grandchildren, Joshua and |
|
Kimberly Campbell; to his brother, Louis Campbell, and his wife, |
|
Pat; to his fiancée, Dr. Liz McDaniel; and to his other relatives |
|
and friends; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of |
|
Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of John |
|
Addersley Campbell, Sr. |
