R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Charles Dupre has been selected to serve as |
|
|
superintendent of the Pflugerville Independent School District, |
|
|
and the experience and insight he brings to this post will be of |
|
|
great benefit to area schoolchildren; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Dupre joined PISD in 2006 as deputy |
|
|
superintendent after completing a notable tenure with the Fort Bend |
|
|
ISD, having distinguished himself as associate superintendent, |
|
|
budget officer, and internal auditor during his years of service; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Before his career in education, Mr. Dupre worked in |
|
|
the public accounting and energy industries; this certified public |
|
|
accountant is a graduate of Harding University and the University |
|
|
of Houston, where he earned his master's degree in educational |
|
|
administration; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Admired for his dedication, integrity, and vision, |
|
|
Charles Dupre has established a record of professionalism to which |
|
|
others may aspire, and he is indeed deserving of his latest career |
|
|
achievement; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Charles Dupre on his appointment as |
|
|
superintendent of the Pflugerville Independent School District and |
|
|
extend to him best wishes for success and fulfillment in his new |
|
|
position; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Dupre as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
