R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Dr. Justin Bartos of North Richland Hills is serving |
|
|
as the Capitol's Physician of the Day on February 5, 2007, and he is |
|
|
to be commended for his participation in this time-honored |
|
|
tradition; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Since 1971, this program has provided for a |
|
|
volunteer physician to be on call each day of the legislative |
|
|
session to offer medical assistance to legislators and support |
|
|
staff; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Dr. Bartos practices at the North Hills Family |
|
|
Medicine clinic; he is a graduate of The University of Texas Medical |
|
|
Branch at Galveston and is a member of the American Academy of |
|
|
Family Physicians, Texas Medical Association, and Texas Academy of |
|
|
Family Physicians, which he has served as president; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Despite his demanding schedule, Dr. Bartos |
|
|
volunteered to serve as Physician of the Day for the members of the |
|
|
legislative community, and it is a privilege to honor him for his |
|
|
service; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby commend Dr. Justin Bartos for his contributions |
|
|
to the medical profession and extend to him sincere gratitude for |
|
|
his participation as Physician of the Day for February 5, 2007. |
