H.R. No. 300
 
 
 
R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Each year, the City of El Paso Parks and Recreation
  Department honors outstanding women as Volunteer Moms of the Year;
  and
         WHEREAS, Recipients of this prestigious honor have each made
  unique contributions to their community and have earned the respect
  and admiration of all who know them with their outstanding
  willingness to serve; and
         WHEREAS, A 2006 Volunteer Mom of the Year, Susan Wiggs is a
  most deserving recipient of this honor; Ms. Wiggs has given
  generously of her time and her noted organizational abilities in
  planning, implementing, and promoting a host of events, and her
  efforts have made a positive difference in her community time and
  time again; and
         WHEREAS, By helping to make El Paso a better place in which to
  live, work, and raise a family, Ms. Wiggs has demonstrated a level
  of civic involvement to which others may aspire; now, therefore, be
  it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Susan Wiggs on being named a
  Volunteer Mom of the Year by the City of El Paso Parks and
  Recreation Department and extend to her best wishes for the future;
  and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That   an   official   copy  of  this   resolution   be
  prepared for Ms. Wiggs as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
