R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, A 65th wedding anniversary marks a lifetime of love |
|
and shared experiences, and Dewey and Goldie Fitzpatrick of |
|
Greenville observed this joyous milestone in their marriage on |
|
December 27, 2006; and |
|
WHEREAS, Joined in matrimony in 1941, the Fitzpatricks have |
|
been blessed with seven children, Anne Haynes, Dewey Fitzpatrick |
|
III, John D. Fitzpatrick, Janice Brodie, Rosalie Dennis, Manette |
|
Bracy, and Robert Fitzpatrick, and their family has grown to |
|
include 15 treasured grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; |
|
they owned The Spare Rib barbecue restaurant and are now retired |
|
from the business; and |
|
WHEREAS, The 65 years that Mr. and Mrs. Fitzpatrick have |
|
shared is eloquent affirmation of the meaning of love and |
|
commitment, and their enduring union is an inspiration to all who |
|
know them; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Dewey and Goldie Fitzpatrick on |
|
their 65th wedding anniversary and extend to them best wishes for |
|
continued happiness together; and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Fitzpatrick as an expression of high |
|
regard by the Texas House of Representatives. |
