H.R. No. 456
 
 
 
R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Kaitlin Elizabeth Brynes, the beloved daughter of
  Jeremy and Courtney Brynes of Houston, passed away on June 15, 2006;
  and
         WHEREAS, Born on August 16, 2005, Kaitlin was faced with a
  diagnosis of spinal muscular atrophy type I, a genetic disease that
  would weaken her physically and ultimately claim her life, though
  it could not diminish her spirit; with her ready smile and bright
  eyes, she was adored by all those who had the privilege of her
  company; moreover, she delighted her loved ones with her laughter,
  cooing, and animated chatter; and
         WHEREAS, Kaitlin touched the lives of countless people, who
  found in her the true meaning of love; she brought out the best in
  them and inspired them to live each day to its fullest; her life
  also stood as a reminder of the enduring need to prevent and cure
  this devastating disease, and many people have been moved to take up
  its cause since sharing their hearts with Kaitlin; and
         WHEREAS, Although her time on this earth was far too brief,
  the memory of this cherished baby girl will forever shine in the
  hearts of all who knew her; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas
  Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Kaitlin Elizabeth
  Brynes and extend sincere sympathy to the members of her family: to
  her parents, Jeremy and Courtney Brynes; to her sister, Caroline
  Brynes; to her grandparents, Barbara and Donald Roseman and Steven
  and Debbie Brynes; to her uncles, Joshua Brynes and Gavin Roseman;
  and to all those who mourn her passing; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for her family and that when the Texas House of
  Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Kaitlin
  Elizabeth Brynes.
