R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
WHEREAS, The 75th birthday of an esteemed Texan is always |
|
cause for celebration, and on February 8, 2007, Nora Jackson Pyles |
|
of Fort Worth observed this noteworthy milestone; and |
|
WHEREAS, Born in 1932 to Cora Love and Lem Jackson, Mrs. Pyles |
|
is the mother of two children, Clemen and Yolonda; she has also been |
|
blessed with two cherished grandchildren, Devere and Nelnora; and |
|
WHEREAS, This lovely lady is a graduate of I. M. Terrell High |
|
School and Southwestern Christian College; she served for more than |
|
32 years as a nutritionist with Harris Methodist Hospital, and she |
|
remains active today as the co-owner and operator of a catering and |
|
decorating business alongside her grandson; in addition, Mrs. Pyles |
|
is a valued member of Stop Six Church of Christ, where she has |
|
worshipped for 66 years; and |
|
WHEREAS, Mrs. Pyles is a joy and inspiration to all who know |
|
her, and it is a pleasure to join her family and friends in |
|
celebrating her 75 years of life well lived; now, therefore, be it |
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Nora Jackson Pyles on the occasion |
|
of her 75th birthday and extend to her best wishes for the future; |
|
and, be it further |
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
prepared for Mrs. Pyles as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
House of Representatives. |
