R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, The 75th birthday of an esteemed Texan is always
  cause for celebration, and on February 8, 2007, Nora Jackson Pyles
  of Fort Worth observed this noteworthy milestone; and
         WHEREAS, Born in 1932 to Cora Love and Lem Jackson, Mrs. Pyles
  is the mother of two children, Clemen and Yolonda; she has also been
  blessed with two cherished grandchildren, Devere and Nelnora; and
         WHEREAS, This lovely lady is a graduate of I. M. Terrell High
  School and Southwestern Christian College; she served for more than
  32 years as a nutritionist with Harris Methodist Hospital, and she
  remains active today as the co-owner and operator of a catering and
  decorating business alongside her grandson; in addition, Mrs. Pyles
  is a valued member of Stop Six Church of Christ, where she has
  worshipped for 66 years; and
         WHEREAS, Mrs. Pyles is a joy and inspiration to all who know
  her, and it is a pleasure to join her family and friends in
  celebrating her 75 years of life well lived; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Nora Jackson Pyles on the occasion
  of her 75th birthday and extend to her best wishes for the future;
  and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mrs. Pyles as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
