R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, Ursula Coates has earned the 2006 Chairman's Award |
|
|
from the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The Chairman's Award is presented to individuals who |
|
|
provide invaluable assistance to the chair of the chamber board; |
|
|
and |
|
|
WHEREAS, A truly deserving recipient, Ms. Coates is a |
|
|
founding member of the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce who, for more |
|
|
than three decades, has attended countless meetings, luncheons, |
|
|
annual banquets, and ribbon-cutting ceremonies; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Ms. Coates has also recruited a multitude of members |
|
|
and lent her time to serve on numerous committees and boards; she |
|
|
currently serves the chamber on the Governmental Relations Division |
|
|
and the Members' Services Division; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, The work Ursula Coates has done with the Fort Bend |
|
|
Chamber of Commerce has helped to make her county a better place in |
|
|
which to live, and her efforts are truly worthy of recognition; now, |
|
|
therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby congratulate Ursula Coates on her receipt of the |
|
|
2006 Chairman's Award from the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce and |
|
|
extend to her sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Ms. Coates as an expression of high regard by the Texas |
|
|
House of Representatives. |
