R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, Andy Eads has been named the Flower Mound Citizen of
  the Year by the local chamber of commerce, and he received this
  prestigious honor on February 2, 2007; and
         WHEREAS, Hailing from a Denton County family that has lived
  in the area for five generations, Andy Eads received his bachelor's
  degree in business administration from Howard Payne University and
  a master's degree in public administration from the University of
  North Texas; and
         WHEREAS, Mr. Eads is a real estate agent with a long history
  of public service; a member of the Denton County Commissioners
  Court, he also serves on the Greater Lewisville Family YMCA board of
  directors, the Mound Foundation board of trustees, and the
  Lewisville Education Foundation board; in addition, he is
  president-elect of the Flower Mound Rotary Club and a member of the
  Denton County Historical Commission and the Denton County
  Republican Men's Club; and
         WHEREAS, A devoted family man, Andy Eads lives with his wife,
  Ginger, and their two sons, Everett and Addison; with their love and
  support, he has made a positive impact on his community as a
  successful businessman and enthusiastic civic leader, and he is
  indeed deserving of special recognition for his myriad efforts in
  behalf of his fellow Texans; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Andy Eads on his designation as the
  Flower Mound Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the Year and commend him
  for the many significant contributions he has made to Denton
  County; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. Eads as an expression of high regard by the Texas
  House of Representatives.
