R E S O L U T I O N
         WHEREAS, The Prince Complex, Incorporated, in Houston is
  recognizing five outstanding honorees at its 2007 Gala, "A Knockout
  Affair," on March 1, 2007; and
         WHEREAS, Since its inception in 1998, the nonprofit
  organization has offered athletic, recreational, and academic
  programs to thousands of disadvantaged youths in Houston, and this
  annual fund-raiser seeks to heighten awareness of this important
  facility and the services it provides in the community; and
         WHEREAS, Debbie and Rudy Festari are two of the individuals
  being honored at the 2007 gala; for more than 15 years, Mr. Festari,
  a native of Italy, and his Texas-born wife have owned and operated
  Festari for Men, a successful men's clothing store in Houston's
  Galleria area; and
         WHEREAS, This dynamic couple, who recently celebrated their
  25th wedding anniversary, have given back to the community by
  sponsoring an annual fashion gala, "A Night in Italy," which has
  raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for worthy charitable
  organizations and programs over the past nine years; and
         WHEREAS, The 2007 honorees have demonstrated an unwavering
  dedication to excellence in their respective fields of expertise
  while maintaining a steadfast commitment to helping others, and the
  receipt of this award brings well-deserved recognition to their
  many contributions; now, therefore, be it
         RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas
  Legislature hereby congratulate Debbie and Rudy Festari on being
  named honorees of the Prince Complex, Incorporated, 2007 Gala and
  extend to them sincere best wishes for continued success in all
  their endeavors; and, be it further
         RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
  prepared for Mr. and Mrs. Festari as an expression of high regard by
  the Texas House of Representatives.
